Creating Dashboard In Sharepoint2010

Prerequisites for creating dashboards
1. Activate the SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure feature. PerformancePoint Services uses this feature to perform dashboard publishing.
2. Activate PerformancePoint Services Site Collection Features feature. This feature adds PerformancePoint content types and a Business Intelligence Center site template.
3. Activate the SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection Features feature. This feature enables Excel Services, Visio Services, and Access Services, included in the SharePoint Server Enterprise License.
4. Create a new Business Intelligence Center site by clicking Site Actions ➪ New Site, and then choose Business Intelligence template.

5.Configure Secure Store for  PerformancePoint Services, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Central Admin home page
2. Under "Application Management" click "Manage Service Applications"
3. Click on the Secure Store Service Proxy
4. Click "Manage" in the ribbon
5. You should get a message to generate a new key. Click "Edit" on the ribbon, then click "Generate New Key". You will be required to enter a pass phrase.
6. When this completes, click "Edit" on the ribbon, then click "Refresh Key". Enter the same pass phrase you used in the previous step.

6.Configure the Unattended Service Account (necessary for using "Unattended Service Account" option on Data Sources)

1. Go to the Central Admin home page
2. Under "Application Management" click "Manage Service Applications"
3. Click on the PerformancePoint Service Application
4. Click the "Manage" button in the ribbon
5. Click the first link: PerformancePoint Service Settings
6. In the "Unattended Service Account" section, enter the user name and password to be used for querying data sources.
